We could expand storymap functionality (or fork..) as minimalistic GIS for student (high-school/early BSc) teaching/training, e.g. with things such as:
Basically a friendly storymap with some raster/vector/basemap layers on top and even possibly guidance (the first steps of a story could explain what to do e.g. to map a contact, or show examples of a certain morphology/unit/crater type..), could include some stops that allow/require editing in place and possibly export...
This is not meant to be a collaborative web-gis but more of a teaching/training/outreach aid.
