Can we POST new Events?

Describe the question Browsing the API, it seems that the methods exposed are all GETs. Can we haz POST? In my perfect world, I can take my AWANA schedule in an .xlsx and breech-load it into the Calendar via openpyxl/requests, and save myself a few clicks.

I see that https://github.com/planningcenter/developers/issues/1006 was essentially this question.

Is there an update on likelihood of delivering this feature?

I have..

Hey Smitty, Thanks for reaching out. Our API doesn’t currently support this, but it is something we are interested in adding in the future. As a work-around, you can bulk import events via an ical file. Still a few clicks, but far fewer than manually creating the events via the UI.

@edgartheunready Understood: "Real Soon Now". I'll just create a recurring event and stage the customizations. My AWANA stuff isn't that intense, but it does chafe my laziness.
