Managing an inventory with all the hardware we have

We want to have the control on the hardware / services we have.

We should find a way to handle:

• What do we have
• Characteristics of what we have (is it of a member of the team? the price. is it still to be refunded by AstA? where was it bought? ...)
• What we want to have (candidates)
• What is ordered but still has to arrive

If there is a nice way on Github we should do it, otherwise any other good option is valid (e.g. excel)

First idea I have:

• we have a directory "inventory" in this repo
• inside there is another directory "components" with a folder for each component
• each of these directories will have a "readme.md" with a meta comment in YAML (e.g. https://images.app.goo.gl/fYxq8LY5Qo76jrim7)
• We are gonna put the main info in these meta comments, eventual assets in the same folder and further, not organized, info in the markdown content
• A github action will create an index.md in the "inventory" folder from the metadata, with the format of a md table
