Please answer the questions about build version and network, will save
developers a lot of time !

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have no problem with chrometophone:)
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

New Issue:

Additional menu - for sending not only url but and send text message to phone
For example let me try explain step by step:
1 Press left click to the button "Chrome to Phone
2 We are see menu.
3 Если нажать вставить URL, текущая ссылка
вставиться в окно диалога, после этого
можем нажимать отправить
3 If you press "1 -> Insert URL", the current link Insert in the dialog box,
then we can press "2 -> Send"
4 Or we can type some text, and after that "2 -> Send" our text to phone.

It's very useful.
Because some times needed send some text to phone (password, funny sms, notes,
comment + url etc...)

Better look at the picture:

What version of the android, in Settings -> About phone -> Build number (
ex. FRFxx ) ? If less than FRF50 - see the FAQ.

Is the phone using WiFi or mobile network when problem occurs ? If Wifi,
are you behind a firewall that blocks outgoing connections ?

Can you open "Gmail" application ? Do you see new messages without hitting
'refresh' ?

Can you open "Talk" application ? Do you see incoming chats ?

Please provide any additional information below.

Checkout the work on issue 162. I've been working on an alternative for
precisely this (posted in the last comment on that issue):

For those interested: I'm working on an alternative. It's called Message Beam
and you can do everything Chrome to Phone does, but it adds custom messages,
selection, encryption and it's also bi-directional (Send from Android to
Chrome). You can also link more than one device (e.g. your phone and tablet)
and will in the near future also have different end-points (not only Chrome,
but also FF, executable and more). For more information check out the plugin
at:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/message-beam-for-android/mlndbhjjfllli
igpnpinfhmiaocogeba . The Android app is not released yet, but you can install
the APK (just install the Extension, add a device and follow the instructions).
