It would be great if it were possible to automatically verify the integrity of downloaded WAR files (and/or the JAR files therein). While most projects provide separate checksum files for binaries/archives (either signed or unsigned) which could also include downloads linked at https://plantuml.com/download, maybe jarsigner could be used in this case as well.
