@gtirloni, this series is worth a quick readthrough but the steps did not work for me in January. As I said yesterday, I researched a number of other buildpack combinations/options but timeboxing it, and the initial desire to have this hosted by a co-op, led me to do the simpler install on AWS.
The directory is now hosted on IDRC infrastructure with support from @gtirloni. We will need to determine long-term hosting strategy but this takes some pressure off.
An estimate from a coop ISP resulted in an unsustainable quote.
Site has been running under @erictheise's personal AWS account since Jan 2020 as there were buildpack-related issues getting the site to run at Heroku. An acceptable, permanent hosting situation needs to be determined.
Determine hosting platform. Create account and assign billing to correct party. Determine modifications to environment to allow for the new host. Switch.
