UTF-8 character in comment causes error #45

Could not retrieve catalog from remote server: Error 400 on SERVER: invalid byte sequence in US-ASCII at /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/environments/production/modules/supervisor/manifests/init.pp:1

The line in question has a UTF-8 quote char:

"# placed in the supervisord process’ environment."
