Should Scenes have .background or .image? #31

I've written scene.image like five times now; are we setting ourselves up for trouble by differentiating the interface?

In the absence of further argument, I think I'm voting to keep .background instead of .image. Hopefully, it makes it clear that a background is a very different beast from an image. If not, then I encourage anyone with a strong opinion to reopen this issue and mock me.
