remember you need both eeprom enabled and ENABLE_BACKLASH_COMPENSATION must be set to 1
but again it could be nice that the plugin have an option to turn off compensation
There is no such command in the plugin itself. It actually never occurred to me that disabling backlash compensation could be useful, but now you mention it it seems pretty obvious.
I personally use the EEPROM-Editor to directly change such settings.
i have that one so i can adjust my Z height and other things, but i did not see any settings for compensation
maybe because i dont have ENABLE_BACKLASH_COMPENSATION set to 1 ?
I'm not aware of a single option to disable backlash. But you an set the x/y/z-backlash values to zero to disable the compensation.
how do i do that?
Within the EEprom Repetier Plugin load your eeprom settings, change the values for backlash compensation to 0: and click Save EEPROM.
I'm not sure whether ENABLE_BACKLASH_COMPENSATION disables the respective EEPROM fields and I can currently not test it because I'm not in the lab.
strange... i dont have those and we use the same plugin
maybe ENABLE_BACKLASH_COMPENSATION do disable them afterall
