`Use next generation IDs` not compatible with this plugin #3262

Describe the bug If we tick: Use next generation IDs option in the configuration of Google Play Services in the Google Play Console, the plugin doesn't work at all, failing to log in.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have a working integration of the plugin in Unity.
  2. Go to Google Play Developer Console -> Play Game Services -> Configuration -> Edit Properties
  3. Check Use next generation IDs
  4. Clear data of your app and Google Play Games/Services/Store so you simulate a new install
  5. Start the game

Expected behavior Login should work

Observed behavior Login doesn't work and we get the infamous Returning an error code. in the console.

Additional context If we uncheck Use next generation IDs and clear all the data, then it would work again.
