Ah it looks like the very first step failed
[22:39:44] [nioEventLoopGroup-2-2/INFO]: [gg.playit.minecraft.PlayitTcpTunnel] failed to get Minecraft server from Bukkit.getServer()
the same also happens for paper 1.17.1
and for paper 1.8.8 so probably all paper versions below 1.19
On paper 1.19.3 (Paper version: git-Paper-365
, Java 17), I see the same message: failed to get Minecraft server from Bukkit.getServer()
Tunnel is working, I can connect to the server, but it shows 127.0.0.1
as my ip address.
[01:45:21 INFO]: [gg.playit.minecraft.PlayitTcpTunnel] Reflect: ReflectionHelper{ServerConnection=class net.minecraft.server.network.ServerConnection, LegacyPingHandler=class net.minecraft.server.network.LegacyPingHandler, MinecraftServer=class net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer, PacketSplitter=class net.minecraft.network.PacketSplitter, PacketDecoder=class net.minecraft.network.PacketDecoder, EnumProtocolDirection=class net.minecraft.network.protocol.EnumProtocolDirection, PacketPrepender=class net.minecraft.network.PacketPrepender, PacketEncoder=class net.minecraft.network.PacketEncoder, NetworkManagerServer=class net.minecraft.network.NetworkManagerServer, NetworkManager=class net.minecraft.network.NetworkManager, HandshakeListener=class net.minecraft.server.network.HandshakeListener, PacketListener=interface net.minecraft.network.PacketListener, CraftServer=null}
On paper 1.19.4 (many paper version), same bug.
failed to get Minecraft server from Bukkit.getServer()
Are you planning to fix this? (no update since 7 months...)
probably happens because of changes in the bukkit/spigot api.
But you are still view player IPs on the playit websites analytics tab or in your playit program.
IP banning should also still work (because each IP ideally gets assigned to the same local IP).
Paper version :
paper-1.18.2-388
