When I search this way, I am not getting anything.

When I search http://z2.punkish.org/v2/treatments?facets=true&stats=true&status=New%20Species&q=Fisher I am getting 82 Treatments

When you search for http://z2.punkish.org/v2/treatments?facets=true&stats=true&status=New Species&authorityName=Fisher a search is conducted for all records where status starts with New Species (lowercase search, of course) and authorityName starts with Fisher. No records are found indeed.

However, when you remove the authorityName constraint and instead add q=Fisher as with http://z2.punkish.org/v2/treatments?facets=true&stats=true&status=New%20Species&q=Fisher then you get all the records with the word Fisher anywhere in the text. In this case, you get 82 records back.

You can see there are many records, in fact, 5436 records with the status field starting with **New Species" from http://z2.punkish.org/v2/treatments?status=New%20Species

Adding the q param constrains the search to only those that also pass the FTS test
