the upload of F906FF84FFF3B87BD531FFF06D3B0D1E to BLR does not work

Looks like the only thing that didn't work was the API call publishing the PDF deposition ... for whatever reason. All I did was open the deposition via the web interface (https://zenodo.org/deposit/896171) and manually hit the "Publish" button ... et le voi-la: https://zenodo.org/record/896171

but this seems to be a serious issue, since we accumulate deposits that are not published. See https://zenodo.org/deposit?page=1&size=20&status=draft# With the excpetion of the articles from Revue Paléobiologiques, a large part are publications that are not published once the upload from Plazi has been made.

One reason could be, that no file is provided (our source.pdf)?! At least, when you want to publish, it is obvious that this is missing.

If this is not on our side, we should talk to Lars et al to solve this issue

I don't think this one is on our side, to be honest. Whenever you report missing images on BLR, first thing I do is re-trigger the upload via the server console and watch it happen to observe any errors. And when I did so in this very case, it all went well right up to the very last API call of the entire process: The call publishing the PDF deposition. The latter returned an HTTP 500 "Server internal error" response.

As some minute later it worked just fine, I might try and throttle our uploader a bit so its barrage doesn't overwhelm Zenodo's intake capacity.

Nonetheless, we should talk to Lars et al., simply because as long as we don't know what's behind those "server internal errors", we have no real chance of doing our part of preventing them.
