they are just black rectangles

Thanks for spotting this ... just tried to have Figure 2 re-exported, but unfortunately it remain black even though the PNGs in the backing IMF are fine ... This weird behavior might be due to some unconventional encoding of these figures, paired with a rather high 600 DPI of resolution for sizes of about 12-16 mega pixels ...

I can only speculate as to where things go sideways, as, as mentioned above, the PNGs in the backing IMF are fine, and go out to Zenodo without re-encoding or anything ...

@slint can you check https://zenodo.org/record/6328293 and see where the figure might have gone all black in the process of creating this deposition?
