Showing the data per month requires some more adjustments. Here are the steps we would need to take:

[ ] Enhance backend emission service for monthly display. Data should be returned on a daily granularity.
[ ] Enhance frontend chart display s.t. the user can chose whether data should be displayed per month or per year
