News: advert spot is played after every news clip #912

PMS Version: 1.16.1.1273 PMP Version: 2.44.0.1018 Platform: Windows

Steps to reproduce

  1. start playing the My News and let it play for several clips

Current behavior

  1. advertising clip (always the same!) is playing after very news clip

Expected behavior

  1. advertising clips should at least vary. If there is only one potential clip for the user's target area, show it less often or it may have a detrimental effect.

This was verified to be only an issue in PMP, but not in other clients, like the web app etc.

Able to reproduce in 2.45.0.1027-65ce5bca. Not able to reproduce on other web-tv clients.

This issue will be fixed in the next release.

On closer inspection this is because of the ad's complete tracking event not making it to our scheduler.
