Hey Paul,
While you are doing some great things here such as exploring different tags and css styles, I notice you seemed to have trouble with a number of the requirements.
Do you have questions remaining about how to link the images and external stylesheet to your .html
files?
I was hoping to see some more css properties on your elements (the 5 x 5 indicated above)
It's important for us to be consistent with our file names, and I suggest you use lowercase-and-hyphens-like-this.html
😄
lastly, I encourage you to focus on indenting nested elements
Please have a look at the sample solution for examples, inline comments for additional feedback and reach out with any questions. I'll be having office hours tomorrow evening (Thursday) from 7pm - 9pm and that may be a good opportunity to help get some of your questions answered!
Hello Barry, Yes I still have trouble linking images. Can we go over nested elements again?
Thanks!
Also I wasn't able to make it this Thursday. I will make it next Thursday.
FEWD Week #1 Project: HTML/CSS Basics
Description
For the first assignment, you will begin creating the beginnings of your first website. Take what you've learned from class and build a portfolio site that showcases all of the projects you'll be completing over the next few weeks. Build two pages - an 'About Page' and a 'Portfolio' - that link to one another. Your 'About Page' should describe your mission and value proposition and your 'Portfolio' should include descriptions of the work you [will] do for Relaxr, Startup Matchmaker, and CitiPix.
