plfs shouldn't have to patch romio #361

I shudder to think what headaches it must be to patch ad_plfs against latest MPICH, and I have no idea what you do with OpenMPI.

Let's sync up one last time with mpich-master and get this puppy mainlined.

Hey Rob,

I don't think there is enough interest in plfs anymore to justify this work. Someone else might feel differently; this is just my opinion.
