When booting plinky with a patch that arpeggiates, it will run on internal clock.
If you patch a clock at 4PPQN (we should correct this in the manual where it says 2PPQN), the patch adapts to the new tempo.
Removing the clock, I think the original idea was that it should time out and switch back to internal clock, but it doesn't - so on subsequent touches to the face plate, Plinky remains silent.

Test patch
Loading patches without arp still works, but the arp patch only plays when it sees a new external clock tick until you power cycle plinky.
