STRATEGY: Meeting Notes #24

Open plocket opened 4 years ago

Why

Same reason as #23 'Newsletter' - when members miss a meeting they sometimes feel they fall too far behind.

How

Create an editable shareable document for weekly (and in-between-ly) meeting notes. Put most recent notes at the top. In each meeting, assign someone to take notes in there. It helps if people double check the notes to make sure that they're clear.

Pictures of whiteboards go in here too.

Can be added to meeting flow guide, #2.

This would be helpful to me too. In a perfect world I would be able to take notes of the things people said at Stand-up and then share them with the wider community. Unfortunately I can’t reliably find a note taker and lack the time on hack nights to engage in the management of finding and reminding one. If folks had meeting notes this would solve this :).

That's an interesting use that I'd never considered. They're not great at providing a concise summary, but maybe they're better than nothing.

Added link to [copying] Clean Slate's meeting notes template if people want to copy. ~Please don't edit.~ I'll put it here too: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-JD9Zpq9Z-deaSi85dINc-0VndJSCrTlvbNzZvl1yOc/copy
