Hyprlinkr should have a logo, to be used as icon for its NuGet package, etc.

Here comes my submission...

route-hyperlink-logo

routes, hyperlinks,... this is what I came up with... If you go for this, the only caveat is that I used this chain link image: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Chain_link_icon.png which is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported license. You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work) and, if you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work only under the same or similar license to this one.

The next one is a study on the fact that a chain link, when placed vertically and cut at the top and bottom is a stylized "H", as in Hyprlinkr...

I like the second concept best.

I wonder if, instead of the yellow background, a transparent background would work better?

Do you want me to remove the white border as well? Or when you said transparent you meant all white background?

ploeh commented 10 years ago

That looks good. Although we can't see the white border here on GitHub, it actually shows up on a black background. If it wasn't there, the icon would be invisible on a black background, so I think keeping the white border is a good idea.

Once again, if you want to contribute with a pull request, you are welcome, but otherwise I can also work with the files supplied here.

Thank you!

Glad to hear you liked them. Please do like last time so I don't have to get the whole repo to issue a pull request. Thanks!

Thank you for your contribution! The logos are now in the repo, and added to the .nuspec file - now I just need an excuse to push a new version to NuGet :)
