User problem

Current UI is confusing.

if you leave columns/field_mapping blank the datagrid won't load anything
it's not entirely clear what you are expected to put in columns/field_mapping
column headings work automatically for static grid but not dynamic
Javascript settings is compulsory for a datagrid but UI doesn't say this.
associated form is compulsory otherwise the grid won't work right. but form doesn't make it so.

If left blank then both the titles and columns/field_mapping will be calculated based on the subform
order should be based on form layout or form folder contents order?
