RSS feeds not working #105

Previous plone.org RSS feeds like

https://plone.org/events/aggregator/RSS and https://plone.org/news/news/RSS and http://plone.org/RSS

no longer work after plone.org was upgraded to Plone 6.

This issue was brought up in the Plone Marketing Team Meetings. Creating this ticket to continue discussions.

@rioksane That block is for displaying a feed from an external source, not serving RSS from Plone.

Possibly you just need some rules in traefik to send URLs ending in /RSS directly to the backend and not to volto.

But, it's probably more complicated since some of these paths were probably Collections that don't exist any more...

RSS feed is a core Volto issue to bring them back. Putting this in the backlog for now.
