@pavithirakc & @tkimnguyen we should look again on the Browser Views for Addonlisting.
I think @pavithirakc did have had some nice ideas, but due to being late on schedule we might forget the users perspective.
The direct view of the Addon Folder with separated groups (Curated, Newest, most Downloaded) is a good overview, but has several problems:
two many element on the page, we should either have a limit of shown elements per group (10-20) depending on the number of tiles per line. (otherwise performance problems if you render up to 10000 Elements in one view)
Pagination for each group (maybe separate follow up Views)
Overview with groups conflicts with filtering, I would suggest to have a separate filter view.
Also the Modal did work but did not look good, as it does not have any styling at the moment. So the Addon Browser View needs to be enhanced.
As @sneridagh and @albertcasado will be in Finland for the Mid Summer Sprint I will talk with those two to get input on UI/UX for this, as both has created the Plone Org Design and therefor should know what looks and work best in this context.
As Backlog we did had several examples from other open source projects for such an addon / modul listing we might want to review:
