might help with #32 , anyway it enables loading previously created annotation.

This is an awesome contribution, thank you so much! While I was testing it I implemented the possibility to add or to replace the existing objects thanks to a boolean add_only prop. Is it OK if I push this change to your branch? I can also make a PR of course.
