This is the the update based on the comments in #66

closes #81 - thanks for the fix @michaelbabyn

@chriddyp This is ready for another review

The update based on review in #66 is mainly updates to docstrings and the documentation. The only functional changes to pages.py are:

discription is None if not supplied rather than title so it doesn't repeat when sharing a link.
check for valid image types when inferring the image.

I also included the fix from @ michaelbabyn that closes #81
