Authorization Failed

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install openfire-jappix 
2. go to http://server-ip:7070/jappix
3. try to login , with any user failed

I think your problem as mentioned here

at stem 2 of your steps you should go to http://hostname:7070/jappix
where hostname is the aht server 
and how to reach it just run this script on your computer
sudo echo "server-ip     hostname " >> /etc/hosts

Yes Problem Solved, But for windows we need to add manually I suppose in the 
host file.

Cn u explain what the cause is, because the link 
http://codingteam.net/project/jappix/forum/show/4489 is dead. Should'nt it be 
enough if the DNS Server can resolve the servername to ip and vice versa?
