Move development to GitHub #576

Just throwing it out there, moving development to GitHub could help with 
contributions (Pull Requests) and allow people to fork in order to add their 
configuration files.

It has been considered, but so far we haven't decided to do so. Personally, I 
am using git-svn to interact with the subversion repository, which gives me 
most of what I want for versioning local modifications. (Though I certainly see 
your first point -- it would be far easier to apply patches submitted as pull 
requests.)

I'm leaving this issue open for now.

Hi, you might remember I wrote an example script to split the modules of 
SimpleSamlPhp to separate repositories (which could get their own maintainers):

Thanks Boy!

If I recall correctly, Olav has been working on this lately too, and he already 
has some mockup module.

Anyway, as you can see, the migration has started and is progressing well. We 
are basically missing the issues, which is why we've been closing/editing so 
many of them today...
