I created a PR based on the hack done by the community in #736. It is slightly different compared to your suggestion, but it should fit your need anyway.

@btry when using the service catalog, there is no way for a user to create a ticket; or do I need to create a custom form for it? why not use the included GLPI ticket form?
When you use the service catalog to replace the simplified interface, it is wanted in the specs the user cannot directly create a ticket (I mean using the simplified ticket form embedded in GLPI).
Some users of the plugin create a "generic" form to allow requesters to create a ticket when no "specialized" form matches their need.
You can also set one or several forms as default to be displayed no matter the words typed in the search box
Add the option to create a textbox on the 'homepage' if you use the formcreator page where you can add text about how it works etc.
