[Feature] Entity Landing Page #784

When users go to the self service page. Can you make it so you get a visual entity selector?

Like: what entity do you want to request? -> selector.

Our users, do see the entity selector in the right top but its not really visible, to the less tech savy. having them required to select a entity (and for us entity = department they want help from) would greatly increase the user friendlyness of GLPI by having them see the information they actually want from the department they select when first going to GLPI.

Hi @grvy , For me the department they want help from should be in the ticket category, not in entity. And the category selection is visible in simplified interface. Entity is more for departments / companies of the requester

Hello @vinz38500 could you explain some more about your workaround/solution. I'm quite curious.

Hello This is not a workaround. For me entity should only be used to manage 'customer' department / company ... Using the itil_category for a ticket will make them able to select a category you define (for example the area that is concerned by their incident or request) I'm not using formcreator but I guess this behaviour is the same Regards Vincent
