Add AtomicDex, it's is a cross-chain atomic swap dex that supports all bitcoin-based protocols, ethereum/erc20, tezos and possibly any other protocol coin as long as it supports a minimum required set of rpc calls. It's based on Komodo's maketmaker software for cross-chain atomic swaps, in fact it's the third iteration of this technology: https://github.com/KomodoPlatform/atomicDEX-API https://developers.komodoplatform.com/basic-docs/atomicdex/introduction-to-atomicdex.html

Monero doesn't support atomic swaps yet, but if this changes in future it will be possible to integrate it as well.

-Orderbooks & ordermatching are p2p, each node reconstructs an orderbook based on what it receives from its peers -It works both with full nodes or in lite mode via electrum servers, default mode is lite mode for the AtomicDEX gui -Multiple GUIs and integration in 3rd party services are possible, sharing the same liquidity pool -Liquidity multiplier: makers can setup as multiple orders with the same funds, the first that gets filled cancels all others. -Beside the coins own tx fee, there's a 0,13% taker fee paid in whatever coin the taker is exchanging

On the roadmap there are an OTC mode for direct swap between 2 users, and a bot for CEX/DEX arbitrage

From ToS: Switchain's service has a risk scoring system that was created to identify suspicious transaction activity. If a transaction is flagged by our system, the transaction is put on hold and the customer who initiated the transaction will be asked to pass AML & KYС verification.

AML/KYC procedure includes confirming the identity of Users by means of:

  • A high-quality photo of their ID (passport or driving license) valid in their country.
  • Proof of the origin of funds.
  • Any other applicable documentation.

Please consider adding the Phore Marketplace to your list. It works in a completely decentralized way, similar in some ways to Bisq which is already on your list. It does not support fiat purchases yet, which clearly is harder to do without any form of KYC. Trading is currently supported for Bitcoin and Phore in both directions, as well as purchases of Dogecoin, Ethereum, and Reddcoin for Phore or Bitcoin, with many more to come.

No KYC is even possible--traders trade directly with each other. The only time anyone else is involved would be a 3rd party moderator helping to resolve disputes, and even in the case of disputes there is no need for KYC, since for crypto trades it would mainly be resolved using publicly available blockchain data.

Thanks for looking into it, @pluja . If you dig into some other exchanges that have already been listed on kycnot.me, they share almost an identical policy. i.e. https://changehero.io/aml-kyc

i've traded with switchain for almost 3 years and never had an issue while also working with them a bit during my time employed for one of the more popular multi-currency, non-custodial crypto wallets.

This is a swiss licensed company with a 6 years track record. It can be found on the swiss financial authority website (search for bity here: https://finma.ch/en/authorisation/self-regulatory-organisations-sros/sro-member-search/ )

Bity api is implemented also in myetherwallet , Edge, Spot.

The trustpilot score is currently in full progression as you can tell from the overall mark. I would argue that judging only by trustpilot is limited.

@pluja what would it take to make you reconsider it?

Not sure what criteria is for listing btw. Binance was first listed, and now I see it is removed :/

@CodeForcer Hi! KYCNot.me code has just been rewritten so old pull request are no longer valid.

I need to put some investigation on localcoinswap.com, and maybe test it myself. As far as I have seen the community has not talked a lot about localcoinswap and I will need to investigate a bit more myself!

Can I ask where you normally get your news and community input regarding P2P trading? We are always looking for more places to interact with people who may not be aware of the privacy-respecting alternatives to mainstream crypto exchanges.

@CodeForcer Normally I do some research on the internet, not a single place. I look on places like Trustpilot and other reviews I find and try to contrast them (sometimes it seems strange if it always are too good).

Also, I look on reddit and Twitter. I value if people are speaking good about it and if there's an active community behind it.

Lastly I try to test the services myself, but this is much slower than the research itself.

@CodeForcer Hi, yes I did! I'm a little hesitant on listing as I'm concerned by the 'Limitation, Suspension, and Termination of Your User Account' on LocalCoinSwap ToS. I am currently trying to dig a bit more and try to understand some more things.

Do you know if you have a chance of refund without KYC in case the account is suspended? If yes, where can I read it from them?

Hey @pluja our wallets are non-custodial, meaning you can export your private keys and we never have access to them: https://ibb.co/vXps1vH

However, we do restrict or delete people's accounts on our site (just like LocalCryptos and LocalMonero) if we become aware a user is engaging in child pornography, terrorism, drug dealing, etc. Or we might restrict login if we suspect an account is being hijacked.

This doesn't give us the ability to take users funds, because as mentioned we don't have access to the private keys of the user and these can be downloaded by any users after signing up - as well as their account mnemonic phrase.

This is pretty standard across any service, and doesn't relate to us being non-KYC though.

There are also situations in which a user will need to verify their identity too, just like on Bisq, LocalCryptos, LocalMonero, and all the other P2P sites listed here. This isn't KYC, it's necessary during a trade dispute to ensure that the cryptocurrency is awarded to the correct person if the traders are claiming a payment made is fake/fraudulent, or that a person isn't trying to claim the account of another user.

Just to be specific about a situation where an account is suspended:

I believe this is exactly the same as HodlHodl, Bisq, LocalCryptos, LocalMonero, and any other P2P exchange. The only alternative would be to have a policy of never restricting people's accounts - which would land any exchange operator in prison quite fast!

I’m editing this because I found more about the service I originally recommended, Switchere. I’m going to recommend this exchange in the two services it offers, buying/selling crypto and swapping crypto. It is based in Russia, but I can confirm it is trustworthy after months of using it, but I did have some hiccups (orders getting stuck) but all were resolved. Their customer support can speak English but I would recommend emailing them instead of doing a live-chat as email customer support seems to be separate and more trained than live chat support. They currently offer these cryptos: BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, BCH, XLM, AAVE, DAI, EOS, LINK, TRX, UNI, USDC, USDT. All tokens are on Ethereum. Buying: To buy crypto with a debit card there is a $150 monthly limit. Additionally, the named you signed up with and the name on your debit card is checked. I know this because I have an account under my name and an account under a pseudonym. When I reached the monthly limit for my real account I tried to buy it on my fake account and my order was declined and I received this email: AE4B8A0F-6E85-4D63-8094-F65AACA15F82

Also, US customers cannot purchase crypto anymore. I do not know about selling because it only pays out through Neteller which is like PayPal but not available in the US. It can also pay out in local banks and by SEPA. Last thing is the minimum for purchasing is 10 USD.

As for swapping crypto, I can still do that even though I live in the US. Fees are a bit high but it still works and they have a rewards program where the more you exchange the higher discount on the fee. Also the minimums for swapping are extremely low. I swapped about 20 cents of BCH for XLM just to test and it worked.
