If you look at EngageMedia's piwik stats it seems to pull in hits from this every time the page is loaded. Can we make it that it only records a hit if there is a play, rather than just a load of an embed? Otherwise I think it skews the stats. Sometimes people are loading EM elements in a page that they are not actually looking at.

Removing them will mean that views from other site wont be counted at all.

The ratings can be hidden but I thought that since we're using that extra line on top to display the views, why not display the ratings as well.

Comment by and on 23 Dec 2011 13:14 UTC It looks a little ugly and non-standard, sorry. Also this doesn't show plays, just that the player is being loaded, which i don't think is useful information.

Is it possible to just get the plays and not the loads?
