Hello @Edouard-Legoupil ! Sorry about the issue. Our organization does not use or_other, so it looks like this is an edge case that we did not think of!

For now until next release, which could be some time from now, do you think that you would be able to try temporarily using a list which includes an "Other" option? At least just for making the PPP paper questionnaire.

No worries - that's what I have done already - but having identified this issue, it was my duty to let you know -

your project is excellent - and definitely fill a gap - the kobotoolbox/kobocat shall definitely integrate it within their interface - I have submitted a ticket: https://github.com/kobotoolbox/kobocat/issues/578

BTW - you may be interested by another project I am working on: https://unhcr.github.io/koboloadeR/docs/

Great, and definitely thanks for brining it up!

Regarding KoBo, yes, I agree. I have met with the KoBo team and they are interested in adding one or more PMA projects (PPP, XFormTest, Odk2Stata, etc) to KoBo Toolbox, via a plugin/extension interface or otherwise. However I do believe that progress on that has stalled. Actually, I will be in Seattle for an ODK convening next week. Hopefully I can touch base with them on that.

KoboloadR looks pretty nice. Definitely the problem it solves is one we've experienced here. Our data managers use Stata to ultimately generate cleaned, finalized datasets. Do you think that there is any way to generate these Word document reports with our setup?

Unfortunately, I will be leaving PMA this month, so I do not know how much bandwidth I'll have available to continue to support ODK and other XForm/XLSForm projects. If you want, feel free to send an email to jflack@jhu.edu and I can connect you with other members of the PMA engineering team.
