I have these PCB's on order, it looks like they should be here this week or early next week. I was looking at the board inside the Eagle software and it seems like the holes for the ESP32 module are closer together when compared to the main board. I could be wrong but it looks like they are only 22mm apart while if you compare it to the main board it is closer to 25 mm apart. Am I seeing that right?

Hey, I apologize the library I used was an old one from when I was using the node mcu esp32 for this project. I thought I changed everything and removed the library. Which I did do for the AIO verision. I need to revist all the PCBs in this repo and update them.

I have updated the PCB and added the gerber with the standard size ESP32 image

If you want to save some time you can pick up the thinner ESPs on amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0718T232Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here is a link to the issue to update the rest of the repo: https://github.com/pmgducati/Blue-Retro-Single-Console-Units/issues/3

no worries, I already have the ESP32 modules so I plan on just ordering the updated board. I hade some other boards I wanted to order anyways. Thank you for the super fast update!

Hold off ordering them, I got about half done updating to the correct footprint. I'm planning on wrapping up the rest this weekend. While I'm working in there. Are there any systems that aren't done yet that you would like?

I plan to just make two all in one Neo Geo adapters and then one adapter running the universal software for all my other systems. I already ordered Saturn and Genesis PCBs. I was working on a PCB design for N64 and Dreamcast that included switches for turning off Player 2, 3, or 4. This is what I had so far for N64, would love your feedback on the design if you have time.

Digikey part number for the switches is CKN9542-ND

GrumpyGopher commented 1 year ago

Realized all of a sudden that I wired the switches wrong. This is the schematic of what I'm wanting to do so that I can redirect the IO pins to 3.3V and disable those ports on the fly.

Hey @pmgducati, I finally got those boards in, the ones that are meant for the smaller ESP32. I was able to get it connected to my ESP32 modules and everything tested ok. Neo Geo CD does not have a Credit or 6 button so for those I just tested them with a multi-meter
