Change to MIT license #78

Currently this project uses an Apache license, but considering the whole point of this project is for people to clone and take the code and adjust it, we should have a more permissive license.

I think that's a great idea! Also minibroker already uses MIT and it was based on the starter so.... please don't sue me! ❤️

I understand MIT is more permissive, but is there something specific that having the project licensed under Apache prevents you from doing?

@jmrodri

Apache is a permissive license whose main conditions require preservation of copyright and license notices.

The preservation of copyright part is what bothers me the most, as this is an example rather then anything else, the whole point is to take it and modify it. And from what I understand one would need to give credit/preserve copyright. I wouldn't feel the need to credit a stackoverflow answer or any blog post code snippet. I find this repo similar, at least ever since we split things to the library. But I could be reading the license wrong, I ain't no lawyer. :)

Agree 100% on the copyright headers. I was trying to be a good citizen with Minibroker but I'm pretty sure now that it's not in line with the license on this starter pack repo after what Lili said...

I was using this repo as an example, and then went to town on it modifying everything (it didn't help that I started on this before the library existed, so rebasing or merging didn't work at all).

I need to check w/ my legal team about what license to use.
