After researching Isolation Protocol when progressing Truepath, the game bugs out in a way that bricks the game state. After clicking the button, only the first planet in Tau Ceti is still displayed, while the others should still be active (at least they still produce stuff). When reloading or when importing this save state it's totally bugged. Tested in two browsers.
