lost internet connection #29

Heey,

My router did n update and therefore my home shotly lost the Internet connection. I don't know how long, as I was asleep 😅 HA tells me it was only 1 minute.

Nevertheless, at the same time, HA obviously could not contact the servers of life360. This morning though, the ife360 HA integration showed me that my credentials were wrong, and I needed to login. The connectivity sensor also showed it git broken the same time my internet was away.

Without any change to my credentials , I could simply click login again and everything connected. Though it would be nice if the integration could self restore (as other integrations also did not break).

It is not uncommon for my Internet connection to go out for short periods of time, especially overnight. I've never had the Life360 HA integration behave the way you describe. It always just recovers when the Internet connection comes back.

Your description is a bit too vague. I need to know exactly what errors you experienced (from the system log.) Also, when you say you "could simply click login again", what exactly do you mean? Do you mean the account got disabled and you re-enabled it? There is no "login" button in the integration.

I was having a similar and perhaps related problem in that if an internet connection was unavailable when Home Assistant (core) initially started, the account would become disabled. After that point, I would have to go in and manually re-enable the account. However, now running the latest beta, the Life360 integration seems to more gracefully handle this situation.
