Suggestion: char differences instead of word differences #263

Can you add a feature to highlight character differences within words instead of words themselves?

It is already added in my new plugin ComparePlus and will be available in its official release.

Implemented/fixed and will be included in the first ComparePlus plugin release coming in a month or so.
