Author: will This doesn't seem very urgent. To fix it, we need to be able to generate code in a .fasl file that determines whether the file was compiled with runtime-safety-checking. That in turn depends on details of .fasl files and our safety architecture that are likely to change in the coming months, so I am removing the milestone from this ticket.
