Drop down navigation menu not showing sub-menus #94

I added a heading and 2 links under Global Navigation, it supposed to show as a drop down menu. image

In Desktop view, it behaves normally. image

But in tablet/mobile view, the menu goes under the burger, the sub-menu items are not showing when clicking on the menu's arrow. image

thx kktong, Unfortunately responsive package does not support all different scenarios in the classic sites for 100%, which is why you see this. This scenario simply has not taken into account in the implementation currently. PnP is community driven initiative and we depend on community contributions in these kind of areas where additional capabilities are needed. We'll absolutely have a look on this scenario also if there's larger refactoring of the responsive package in future.

Hi @kktong, the PR (PnP-Tools repo) that include this improvement was merged. Your issue is fix, isn't it ?

Using Managed Metadata navigation and second level navigation is not rendering.

@farhanfaiz, thx for your feedback. Unfortunately, the responsive package does not support all different scenarios in the classic sites for 100%, which is why you see this. This scenario simply has not taken into account in the implementation currently. By default, the first target of this package is for default SharePoint Team Site without Publishing feature enabled. I check this use case and see if is it possible to fix it !
