Add ability to hide/mask private appointments in Personal Calendar web part #508

Expected or Desired Behavior

When users are sharing their screen for one reason or another, they might be displaying private appointments to other users who should not be aware of that information. It would be nice to be able to hide or mask that private information temporarily while screen sharing. I don't think this needs to be a permanent setting on the web part. The users will still want to see those appointments when not sharing their screen. What would be nice is to let the user select a checkbox to either hide or show the private information.

Solution Ideas:

  1. Mask the private appointment like Outlook does when someone views another user's calendar. They can see they have an appointment it just shows "Private". Allow the user to select (checkbox) showing or masking private appointments on the web part.
  2. Remove the private appointments from the calendar list in the web part. Allow the user to select (checkbox) showing or removing private appointments on the web part.
