The current exporters for the extrafile "smokeready" types produce inventory formats no longer compatible for SMOKE emissions modeling. The SMOKE model provides gridded emissions to regional air quality models such as CMAQ.
The SMOKE model now uses the FF10 annual for annual emissions and release information: https://www.cmascenter.org/smoke/documentation/4.9/html/ch06s02s08.html#sect_input_ptinv_ff10 The PTDAY format for daily emissions: https://www.cmascenter.org/smoke/documentation/4.9/html/ch06s02s06.html#sect_input_ptday_ff10 And can optionally use the PTHOUR format for hourly emissions: https://www.cmascenter.org/smoke/documentation/4.9/html/ch06s02s07.html#d0e31823
