What update do you require?

Well one (minor) issue (#74) that has been bugging me (for quite a while) is the issue with the spawn_first= option. The choice is to have thumbnails generate properly but have a couple of seconds of hang before the first thumbnail or have the first thumbnail generate faster but risk subsequent thumbnails not rendering.

Also when dragging across the timeline thumbnails don't generate until you stop dragging again.

Those are more concrete issues and I think I've noticed the dragging issue recently as well.

But as for your initial issue title, the owner's last comment was 5 days ago, so the project is clearly not abandoned.

Besides, not everything is a webbrowser that needs constant updates, so one shouldn't assume that a project is abandoned/dead just because there haven't been commits recently. Sometimes, development is just slow :)

If you were talking about uosc, that's the feature not the bug.

Yes I'm using uosc, what is the reasoning behind this feature?

Why do you need a thumbnail, when you see the exact time you are seeking on the whole screen?
