color shift with mxf files #139

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.ffmbc -i mvi_8911.mov -vf colormatrix=bt601:bt709 -vf crop=1920:1080:0:0
-target xdcamhd422 -an testing.mxf

2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In addition to issues with audio, there is a color shift between original file
and mxf copy. Tried to force conversion to rec. 709 color space, but to no
avail.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using ffbmc .7rec8-win64

Please provide any additional information below:

- Full commandline run (with -v 3) and everything the program printed
without
the repeating parts.
- Upload your sample somewhere and supply url

Okay, never mind. I figured this issue out. Was working with dslr files.
Needed to convert from rec 601 to rec709 for some reason. Still have audio
issues however. If I can get the audio working (and files will copy to a
pdw-u1 without error) this will be an awesome little program. Premiere and
After Effects render crappy mxf files in comparison with this program. Mxf
files created with ffmbc are nearly indistinguishable from original file.
Certainly can't say that about files created by Adobe CS 5.5!
