Before i found this repository (because i could not make autoloading work for Neogeo), i remotely loaded roms for NES, SNES, GENESIS, GB, GBA by symlinking roms to their respective boot.roms. This automatically boots rom when you load the core which i think is a bit prettier than opening the OSD.
GENESIS - boot.rom
NES - boot1.rom
SNES - boot.rom
GB - boot0.rom
GBA - boot1.rom (you currently need a goomba.rom in the GBA folder to make that work, i just touched it)
