I'm not able to see the pictures embedded as screenshots. Wherever you have a picture, please save it to a folder in the github and then reference that picture in the .md file so it renders. So for this QGIS tutorial, I would create a new folder within the GIS folder titled "GIS_Images" and save all necessary screenshots in that folder. Then, in the markdown, please place a line like the following: ![*Figure caption*](GIS_Images/SSTA_fig1.png) It will place a figure caption if you hover over the photo and have the path to where you saved the screenshots.
