Loosing the hyperlink while editting in IE8. #146

Initially we are selecting an item and saving it. Now the item is displayed as hyperlink. When we edit the text box we are loosing the hyperlink selection. This is happening only in IE8

I can't even make this plugin work, and this demo doesn't work as well http://podio.github.io/jquery-mentions-input/
