Goals:

Dependency and build-step free to ease review processes (#73)
Align to our philosophy of using the platform where we can
Get closer visually to built-in developer tools (inspo: https://github.com/firefox-devtools/profiler/tree/main/res/css)

The draft technically has feature parity with the React version.
