Drop-down form fields are getting hidden behind modal windows when displaying a form in a modal #4934

Issue Overview

When displaying a Pods form in a modal window, drop-down relationship fields are displaying behind the modal causing them to display as text.

Expected Behavior

Drop-down form fields should display normally when placed in a modal window.

Current Behavior

Drop-down form fields display like a plain text input field. The ability to select an option is lost.

Possible Solution

Puneet at IdeaBox suggest using CSS:

.select2-container { z-index: 99999; }

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Create a Pods form that includes a relationship field

  2. Display the form in a modal (avoid displaying the form in a page, and then in a modal). This example uses UABB Modal Popup, but the problem exists with all modal plugins tested. The z-index value will need to be adjusted based on the modal solution chosen for all elements to be displayed properly. Pods Package Drop-down form fields.txt
