Opt-in Notification in WP Admin Dashboard / Plugins #5704

Issue Overview

Opt-In notification won't go away.

Expected Behavior

  1. Dismiss notification should go away and stay away
  2. Clicking link should do something other than go to Pods debug screen

Current Behavior

For both Pods & Pods SEO, the "Opt-In" notification won't go away and stay away. Whether you click Dismiss or the link, the notification returns....EVERY....SINGLE....TIME. It also goes to the Pods Admin>Debug screen.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. Login to WP [multisite] or individual site (it happens on both).
  2. Click on desired site.
  3. Click Plugins (or Pods Admin/Components)

Possible Solution

Make it go away...Pleeeeease!

Just to confirm, neither 'Opt in' nor 'Dismiss' links work for you? Is this for Pods itself or for any of the official Pods add-ons?

I can click the X And it will temporarily dismiss the notification. But it will return. Clicking the "opt-in" link just goes to the Pods settings. This is for Pods and Pods SEO.
